SHINE A LITTLE BRIGHTER

As you start shining you will make others feel uncomfortable. Do NOT stop. Feelings of self doubt and uncertainty will become very loud and come on very strong as you are growing into the person you need to be. Keep shining and offering your gifts. As you shine brighter, you give permission to others to do the same.

You will lose some people in your life, those that want to protect you, that want you to stay comfortable, that want you to stay small, that want what you have, that are jealous or threatened , that want you to do what is logical, reasonable, and safe. Although many of them mean well, you will have to have the courage to continue on with your wants, your dreams and creating the life that you want.

You will also meet new people- the ones that will celebrate you, cheer you on, push you to grow, help pick you up when you fall down, help you believe in yourself again and want you to champion your dreams. Surround yourself with them. They will come unexpectedly, so pay attention and be open... It may surprise you who will step up for you and who will want to bring you down.

My mom and I at our first painting workshop. Cheering each other on when we are scared and uncomfortable started here for us but now continues in all of the areas of our lives.

It's scary and uncomfortable to champion your dreams and create an extraordinary life. I feel there is no other way for me to live my life anymore and I challenge you to do the same. It is important to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and stay open and willing to the opportunities that arise... and they always will when you are on your path and purpose.
